Rubber Plantation On Lease

We take rubber plantations on lease for a minimum period of 5 years

Security Deposit: 2 months’ lease amount

Rubber Latex Collection Period: 10 months annually

Summer Break: April & May

Estate Maintenance Includes:

  • Application of fertilizers twice a year
  • Weed removal and regular upkeep of the plantation

Monthly Rubber Plantation Care Plan – Mangalore Region

At Kulathinal Rubber Estate Management, we follow a systematic monthly care schedule tailored to the climatic conditions of the Mangalore region to ensure high yield and long-term health of the rubber plantation.

January

  • Tapping continues as usual
  • Inspect for pest attacks and initiate early control if needed
  • General upkeep of tapping tools

February

  • Begin preparing for summer break
  • First round of weed removal
  • Check for tree health and dryness due to rising temperature

March

  • Apply fertilizer (First Dose)
  • Continue tapping
  • Begin rain guard application in the second half of the month .
  • Plan for tapping break from next month .

April

  • Summer Break – No Tapping
  • Continue rain guard application
  • General maintenance of paths and gutters .
  • Weed control if required .

May

  • Summer Break Continues
  • Mulching around plants to preserve soil moisture
  • Clean rain guards and tapping panels

June

  • Monsoon Begins – Resume tapping in second half if rain permits
  • Monitor waterlogging
  • Strengthen drainage channels

July

  • Tapping continues with rain guards
  • Prune overgrown branches
  • Pest monitoring (especially fungal issues due to rain)

August

  • Mid-season tapping
  • Maintain rain guards
  • Second round of weed removal .

September

  • Fertility check of soil if needed
  • Mid-year inspection of tree health
  • Repair damaged panels or guards .

October

  • Apply fertilizer (Second Dose)
  • Reassess tapping panels
  • Prepare for high-yield season

November

  • Tapping in full swing
  • Collect and process latex systematically
  • Check for fungal infections

December

  • Continue tapping
  • Annual review and planning for next year
  • Recheck fencing and overall plantation infrastructure .
